Oceanix Biotechnologies’ management and research team has over sixty years of combined experience in the research, development and manufacturing of generic pharmaceuticals and OTC medicines and of the global pharmaceuticals industry, including the Chinese and Indian pharmaceutical industries.

Mahmoud S. Aziz is a biochemist and Founder, Chairman & President of The Fazio Group of Companies, a well-established and diversified, multinational organization, with operations and offices in 19 countries, covering four continents, and comprising 39 companies, The Fazio Group employs over 10,000 people worldwide.
Mr. Aziz is also Chairman and President of Canagen Pharmaceuticals Inc., a company he founded in 2001. Canagen is a well established & innovative pharmaceuticals-biotechnology company dedicated to the development, manufacturing and commercialization of novel and generic pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals as well as the research and development of novel, proprietary pharmaceutical and bio technologies, and the discovery and commercialization of new ethical drugs, in the cardiovascular, cancer, anti-viral and other therapeutic areas. The company owns and operates 8 pharmaceuticals factories in Canada, China, India and Russia.
He is also founder, Chairman and President of Oceanix Biotechnology Corporation, Canada’s only manufacturer of Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH) for the global anti-cancer vaccines industry, and the co-founder and Chairman of Asia-Pacific CEO Association of Canada (APCEOC), the Canadian chapter of the global Asia Pacific CEOs Association (APCEO), headquartered in Beijing.
Mr. Aziz possesses over 40 years of experience, at the highest levels, in the global and Chinese pharmaceuticals industry and has personally established eight successful pharmaceuticals factories globally, including two in Canada.
